FAQ's

1.  Why don't you powercoat hubs?

The heat required to powdercoat can weaken your hub and lead to hub failure.  There is almost complete agreement on this point.  It's not a sound practice, and we don't do it.

2.  I'm a little nervous about sending anybody the only set of rims I own...

We know the feeling.  RTR Precision Wheel Lacing employs motocross riders and the thought of a shop keeping (or losing) our stuff makes us nervous, too.  We haven't lost one order.  We complete the average order in 7 to 10 business days, and return ship promptly.  This isn't a sideline for us:  It's our business, and we pay attention.

3.  What if I need something custom ?

Just give us a call.  With over 30 years experience, we can help you achieve the exact look you've wanted, and at a price that will make us both smile.

4.  There are several companies like yours.  Why shouldn't I select the closest one (to save on shipping)?

Anodizing is not a brand new thing, and yes, there are several companies doing it.  However, anodizing for the Moto-SuperMoto market is all we do.   We're not trying to add anodizing to a huge list of services.  When we get your order, we know what needs to be done, and how to do it.  While you may lose a few dollars on UPS charges, we know you'll be happier going with us.  We've done work for almost all 50 states -and many foreign countries.
